Welcome to Bologna, the red city, fat and the learned city that will reserve you great surprises.
On this walking tour you will have a perfect introduction to this magnificent city. The tour includes, in addition to visiting the main monuments, the tasting of some typical products.
The meeting point will be in front of the Neptune's fountain, symbol of the city. Accursio Palace, the Basilica of San Petronio and the vault of whispers will be the first monuments we will visit.
After the visit, time to go and taste the typical Bolognese chocolate: the Fiat Majani in the oldest shop in Bologna, active since 1796.
 
It is then time to tour the first site of the University of Bologna: the Archiginnasio palaceBuilt in 1563 was the first building used by medical students and law of the renowned university.
 
A few steps from the Archiginnasio Palace there is the most famous Italian market: the Quadrilatero or Medieval market.
The market with its colors and smells is a sensory experience: only top-quality products sold in a beautiful city space. Time for the second tasting: the tagliere: a selection of meats and cheeses accompanied with a good wine.
The visit ends in front of the two Towers, symbol of the splendor of medieval Bologna.
